This site is intended to provide information to the public regarding the corridor roadwork's improvements along River Road and the installation of a new sanitary sewer, located in Delta, BC, Canada.
The new sewer is replacing an existing old sewer approximately 4 to 5 metres deep, directly underneath the existing roadway. This project will be complete by the fall of 2003.
The Delta Engineering Department awarded Imperial Paving the contract to upgrade the corridor and install the new sewer utilizing pipe bursting technology -minimizing traffic disruption and resident inconveniences.
The pipe bursting will be handled by PW Trenchless which also handled the bursting during the 2002 phase of the corridor improvements.
Engineering services for this project are provided by McElhanney Consulting Services Limited. The construction schedule for this project is from May to October of 2003.

The photo above shows part of the 2002 phase of the road improvements along River Road in Delta. River road is a busy and vital part of the trucking industry and the community of Delta. All efforts are made to allow a smooth flow of traffic for the duration of the project.
