Environmental concerns The use of Trenchless Technology allows for the installation of required underground infrastructure with a much lower carbon dioxide release to the atmosphere. The lack of open trench means less excavating no removal of native ground to dump sites and the required hauling of imported fill material for the trench. Trucks emission are kept to a minimum during Trenchless operations For more info check out this report: Do Trenchless pipeline construction methods reduce greenhouse gas emissions? Check out the new carbon calculator that allows you to calculate how much emmission you would use during construction.
