We are active in the promotion of trenchless technology. Our president, Mr. David O'Sullivan, is a director of the Northwest Chapter of the North American Society of Trenchless Technology and we actively support their efforts at education.
In 2007 PW Trenchless in conjunction with NASTT-BC linked the use of trenchless and a low carbon footprint. To prove and substantiate this fact we developed a carbon calculator allowing designers to compare different methods of trenchless construction and conventional open cut construction.

ABSTRACT: We in the so called developed world have a major job in front of us in the next 30 to 50 years,
replacing all the existing utilities we depend upon for clean water and sewage disposal. To install these utilities we have the option of using trenchless methods of construction which have a much lower carbon footprint than conventional open cut. As a responsible industry in the new world of sustainability and carbon neutrality we have a large role to play.
