While studying engineering, Carl developed a passion for sustainable development. Upon graduating with a Bachelors of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering (with Honours) and acquiring a postgraduate degree in finance, he immigrated to Canada in pursuit of a related career.
At the outset of his career path he began working on large scale civil construction projects as a Surveyor and Health & Safety Officer before progressing into a management position at PW Trenchless Construction Inc., a company whose principles align with his personal philosophies of sustainability.
Working as the company’s estimator, with some project management duties included, Carl has been an asset to both sides of the business, contributing to successive year over year growth at PW Trenchless, and integral in disseminating the benefits of Trenchless Construction to the BC construction industry and beyond. Today Carl can make the claim to be the only full time specialized construction estimator of Pipe Bursting in the province.
When you join PWT, you become part of a community of people who are engaged in the most innovative practices in the Trenchless Industry. We have been instrumental in setting up a scientific method for cities to gain carbon offsets/credits from their use of trenchless construction. This system has been reviewed by the BC Government and has been approved as of December 2018. We expect to see it in common use shortly.
