In addition to having practical experience in general and civil construction, Spencer has over 12 years’ experience working in the public sector, with several years in management. His Bachelor’s Degree in Music from UBC (education major), MBTI Facilitator Certification, Human Resources Management Certificate from UFV, and on-going safety and industry specific training; combined with his experience, leadership and passion for serving people, aligns perfectly with the company’s core values. Spencer currently serves as the Construction Safety Officer (CSO), Human Resources Assistant and Equipment Maintenance Coordinator. Spearheading the company’s COR certification process, he continues to work with staff and external service providers to complete annual safety program audits, ensuring the program is meeting and/or exceeding expectations.
When you join PWT, you become part of a community of people who are engaged in the most innovative practices in the Trenchless Industry. We have been instrumental in setting up a scientific method for cities to gain carbon offsets/credits from their use of trenchless construction. This system has been reviewed by the BC Government and has been approved as of December 2018. We expect to see it in common use shortly.
