We are a dynamic underground utility contractor seeking an experienced Operator for projects in British Columbia.

Experience and Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-6 years’ experience operating small, mid and large excavators in a civil construction environment (move cages, dig trenches, etc)
  • Preferred candidate will have rubber tire/backhoe experience
  • Able to work in tight/busy residential and/or traffic areas safely: be aware of surroundings
  • Complete/document equipment pre-trip and safety inspections
  • Report damage or repair needs immediately to Forman/maintenance coordinator
  • Available to work 40 plus hours a week if required
  • Must understand basic English and follow instructions
  • Problem solver: work in partnership with Forman and team
  • Hold a valid Class 5 or higher Driver’s license
  • Willingness to get out of machine and help team as needed
